Blah Blah Blah

A new year means a I have to lock in and stuff ... I made a few resolutions this year, I won't go through all of them but the main ones are that I will complete an album before the end of this year (I'm startign to get some good ideas! and the second being I will read a book a month. I ordered Yukio Mishima's The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea but it's taking its while to arrive... I ordered it like a week ago but it won't arrive until like the 21st or 22nd... Looks like I'll only have just over a week to finish it sighhhhh.
Also I have some plans for this website so stay tuned!!!!

holiday time yayyyy

Ok, now that I have some time off I have a bunch of stuff I want to do over the holidays! Ok so first I need to finish writing the lyrics and just finish this one soul style song I was writing, I want to spend some time drawing a little or whatever, I wanna draw another pixel art character and draw some of my favourite characters as usual, maybe I'll try draw Rei (I have failed at drawing her MULTIPLE times, for some reason I find her especially difficult to get right). I also have a few animes I need to watch, I want to finish watching the eva rebuilds, and also Hibike Euphonium (at least I want to finish the second season). If I finish those two I want to watch haibani renmei! I have a few mangas I want to read, I want to read some shoujo manga and also okaeri alice (I love shuzo oshimi). I need to catch up on chainsawman and kaoru hana too (there's too much to read man). Oh yeah, I need to also finish house in fata morgana with my friend (it has taken us WAY too long... but its just now getting intersting woo!).

What else... oh yeah I need to practice the piano so I'm gonna set out some vague goals for that.. hmmm.., I need to perfect the head for confirmation and work out some voicings for the B section of polka dots and moon beams, tho that's almost done... I should learn some more bebop tunes? I need to practice my voicings too, I'll have to think more about this...

I also want to keep working on this website! I was thinking it would be nice to add a page that has a technozen aesthetic but I don't know what content to add onto that page... maybe I'll just add some images and text and random widgets and just have it there for the vibes lmao

I also need to do my coursework and study up on maths (I was not paying attention in class...)

Second blog poast woaaaah

Today I spent way too long working on this site and completely redid the front page, drew logos and added a bunch of widgets to it. Coolest things I added today was a widget that shows my top track this weekly and a functioning guestbook! The widget took WAYY too long to create because for some reason fetching album art from last fm's API is basically IMPOSSIBLE... So, I had to make it fetch from iTunes API once its gotten my top track from the last fm API. My only worry is that iTunes won't have as many albums as last fm but whatever. The internet said its the most reliable source...

Oh yeah, I've been reading "Yesterday Wo Utatte" recently, I love the art style and the character designs! The slight melancholy or loneliness that seems to linger around most of the characters is a feature of a lot of my favourite manga. I'm almost finished with it which is a shame because I'm loving it a lot. Though, I heard the anime skips a lot of content and is not very good...
